On December 21st, 2007, 19 after the crash of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission is expect to grant Abdelbaset al Megrahi a second appeal.  In light of this event, there is an interesting article in the WorldPress which is followed by a comment by Dr. Jim Swire.

The Scottish Appeals Court met on October 11, 2007, to prepare for the Megrahi appeal.  Megrahi's defense team has brought to the attention of the Court the fact that it was not given a secret document from a foreign country.  The defense has until December 21, 2007 to lodge its appeal - details of which can be read by clicking the following hyperlinks.

Dr. Hans Koechler has written an important memorandum discussing certain allegations of perjury on the part of MEBO ex-employee, Mr. Lumpert.  Please read the following email for details:

The Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission, after 3 years of deliberation, announced its conclusions about the Lockerbie case in the Scottish Parliament on June 28, 2007.  Most of us were very pleased to learn that Megrahi had won a second appeal, although we were disappointed with the findings of the Court and how it had arrived at its conclusions.  Dr. Hans Kochler, who represented the United Nations during the Lockerbie trial, has published two articles which reflect the opinions of many of those involved in trying to discover the truth behind the Lockerbie case.  I recommend that you double click the following hyperlinks, particularly those referring to articles by Dr. Kochler.
