We were expecting the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission to conclude that Megrahi should be entitled to a second appeal. Unfortunately, this decision has been delayed until February 22, 2008. There is another very serious problem with the Scottish legal system in that the prosecution refuses to share some very important information with Megrahi's defense team. This vital information is said to be from a foreign country and the refusal is based upon what they say is "national security considerations". Details can be accessed by visiting the following hyperlinks.

At last, after three years of deliberations, the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission will issue its findings on June 28, 2007. April 9, 2007. New Zealand-born director Niki Caro is already at work on a script based on a memoir written by Ken Dorstein, whose brother David, 25, died when Pan Am 103 crashed over Lockerbie. April 5, 2007. There have been a number of documentaries and reports in foreign newspapers, a brief discussion of which follows:
I cannot understand why reporters and documentary producers with CNN, NBC Dateline, MSNBC, and the Discovery Channel continue to produce TV articles in which they have to know they are spreading lies and deceptions to their American audience. Why is it that a reporter in Sofia, Bulgaria, (see hyperlink below) can write a more accurate portrayal of what is happening with the Lockerbie case than any reporter in the U.S. or U.K.?
March 27, 2007. A documentary on Lockerbie, entitled, "The Final Report - Bombing over Lockerbie." was aired on the National Geographic Channel across the U.S.A. and played numerous times over the following week. This documentary was extremely well presented and the narrator had an excellent and convincing voice. The only problem with this documentary was that it contained a series of lies as well as erroneous, dubious and unsubstantiated conclusions, together with a number of deceptions designed deliberately to deceive the American public. Why would Tower Productions of Chicago allow such a documentary to be aired when the management knew that the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission will be revealing its three-year conclusions on the Lockerbie case in June of 2007? A very limited investigation on the internet would have readily revealed the substantial problems with the conclusions in the Lockerbie case.
It is unfortunate that the producers of the above documentary had not visited Ed Bollier's website.
March 19, 2007. A documentary on the Lockerbie case, "Trail of Terror - The Story of Pan Am Flight 103.", was aired on the Discovery Channel. I believe that none of the already well established problems of the case were exposed in this documentary. I have not had an opportunity to review it in detail and my conclusions come from articles obtained on the internet. This documentary was produced by Marabella Productions in New York.
February 27, 2007. A very interesting article appeared in the Darik News, published in Sofia, Bulgaria. The article was written by Svetoslav Ivanov who has clearly researched the Lockerbie case and is seriously questioning the conclusion of the Scottish trial. One has to wonder why this article appears in a Bulgarian newspaper when the Bulgarian government is having difficulty with the Libyan government over the accusation that certain Bulgarian doctors and nurses deliberately infected 400 Libyan children with the HIV virus. A translation of this article can be obtained by double clicking the following hyperlink.

Al Jazeera, English version, aired a documentary on SKY ONE on December 22, 2006, covering the current situation on the Lockerbie case. This documentary is extremely important and should be read and seen by all of those seeking the truth about the crash of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie on December 21, 1988.
Someone has placed this documentary on Google, in two parts, and I highly recommend that you double click the two following hyperlinks to view this documentary.
You can also read a transcript of this documentary by double clicking the following hyperlink.
When you have read this transcript you will find a very similar documentary was created in 1989, called "The Maltese Double Cross". At the time, the airing of this documentary was banned in the UK and the USA, however you can now watch this documentary by double clicking the following link and scrolling down to "The Maltese Double Cross".
I believe that there will be some significant revelations on this case during 2007. After three years of study by the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission, its findings should be made public in the first few months of 2007. It is firmly believed that the Lockerbie case will be referred back to the Scottish courts. This effort is being driven by the dedicated effort of Dr.Jim Swire to find out exactly who was behind the destruction of Pan Am 103. You can appreciate this dedication by reading the letter written to Prime Minister Tony Blair after a new documentary about Lockerbie had been aired on Sky TV on December 22, 2006.
