"My name is xxxxx Rahmy
I live in a small village i Sweden in January 1989, together with my
wife and our two kids.
I have worked as a security-officer in the Lebanese Militia for 5 years.
In 1988 my service was carried out on the ferry "Sunny", routing between
Jounieh (Lebanon) and Larnaca (Cyprus).
Through out 1988 I several times observed a Lebanese man, known to
me as a member of a big shiite-family from the city of Baalbeck in the
Bekaa Valley. His name was Khalid Jaafar.
This man had passports from both Lebanon and USA.
It was my responsibility to receive passports from travellers aboard,
in order to hand out the cabins.
Passengers travelling on double passports was quite usual. They used
the American passports for departure and arrival on Cyprus,
then they used the Lebanese passport for arrival and departure at the
Lebanese border. That was exactly what mr. Khalid Jaafar did.
I recall that the Cypriote Police came aboard (the ferry) and escorted
him ashore, when we arrived at Larnaca Harbour.
I am positive that I saw this man aboard the ferry some days in April
and May 1988.
