LYNNE C. HARTUNIAN, 21; STUDENT, MODEL

Lynne C. Hartunian, 21, of Tamarack Lane died Dec. 21 in Lockerbie, Scotland, in the crash of Pan Am Flight 103. Born in Troy, Miss Hartunian was the daughter of Joseph and Joanne Kouyomjian Hartunian of Niskayuna.

 As a young girl, Miss Hartunian moved to Niskayuna. A 1985 graduate of Niskayuna High School, she also was a graduate of the Barbizon School of Modeling in Albany, where she was a model, teacher and admissions representative. During summer breaks, she was employed at her father's business, the Skyview Star Supermarket in Latham, and as a playground director with the town of Colonie Recreation Department.

Miss Hartunian was a student at the State University College at Oswego, where she was studying communications, with a minor in English. Upon graduation, she had planned to go into television communications or advertising.

 This past semester she studied in London and had just completed a tour of Europe with some of her classmates.

 She was a member of St. Peter's Armenian Apostolic Church in Watervliet, and the Armenian Christian Youth Organization of America.

 Besides her parents, survivors include a sister, Patricia O'Keefe of Delmar; a brother, Richard S. Hartunian of Niskayuna; and her paternal grandmother, Lucy Hartunian of Troy.

 A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Armenian Apostolic Church, Watervliet.
