9th anniversary announcement

       Statement of George Williams
       27/12/1997 --

George Williams, President of The Victims Of Pan Am Flight 103, Inc. issued a statement to this site concerning the 9th Anniversary of the Libyan Intelligence Agency bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.

As a result of the largest criminal investigation in history, two Libyan Intelligence Agents, Fhimah and Megrahi , were indicted for the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie,Scotland on Dec.21, 1988. The evidence clearly shows that these two men, under obvious orders from Moaamar Qadhafi, posing as Libyan Air employees in Malta, placed an unaccompanied bomb, in a Toshiba Boom-Box radio, aboard a Maltese 'plane bound  for Franfurt, Germany. From there , it was transferred, still unaccompanied to a Pan Am 'plane bound for London, Heathrow. Amazingly, still undetected and still unaccompanied, the bomb was placed aboard the ill-fated PAN Am 103.

The flight was delayed for an hour and the bomb exploded over land instead of over water, as planned by the terrorists who were after an American 'planeload of peple. The investigation turned up NO INDICTABLE EVIDENCE of any other country's involvement. This is not to say that  no other country participated,,just  that,so far, we can not prove it.

I do not question the motives of anyon who had a loved one on board that  flight, but I DO question the motives of those who can profit from the turmoil caused by unfounded conjecture. Qadhafi is busily attempting to bribe everyone and his dog with billion dollar contracts. The SOUTH Korean conglomerate, The Dong Ah Company, is earning over 12 billion US dollars building  the "Great Man-Made River Project". Part of this project contains a huge " cave " near Tarhunah, which we suspect is planned to conceal an underground chemical or biological agents of mass destruction. The United Nations and the United States went to war to preserve South Korea's freedom.

I fought, alongside other Marines, to defend the South from the North. I left many friends there. I am beginning to regret it, now. The US alone lost 50,000 dead and twice as many wounded.

South Africa's President, Nelson Mandela, is calling for an end to the sanctions imposed on his old friend Qadafi's country. This from a man who gained political prominence because of worldwide sanctions against a repressive white regime.  Rumor has it that South Africa is in line to build an extremely large railroad  system. Quid pro quo?

And, even more amazingly, Pope John Paul ll has recently reopened diplomatic relations with Libya by sending a Papal Nuncio to Tripoli. Of course, the Pope received a promise from Qadhafi that he would allow the few remaining Roman Catholics a little more freedom to practice their religion. That sly old  fox,Qadhafi, knew that the Pope has no need for money.
The Pope is a good man who has been duped by his own Nuncio most recently stationed in Malta. Malta, of all   places. The beginning of it all.

I, of course, can not forget Qadhafi's American friend, Louie Farrakhan, whom  the colonel called "...my loophole to a foothold in the United States. "  Farrakhan continues to thumb his nose at our President Clinton by visiting every dictator in Africa and the Middle East. Qadhafi is starving his people, not us!

I will be glad to answer any and all questions posed to this page, for all to see.
