Leave to Appeal Granted

Mr. Abdulbaset Al Megrahi has been granted leave to appeal against his murder conviction. The appeal hearing before five judges is expected to take place in Camp Zeist early next year.

A preliminary hearing in respect of the appeal is to take place at The Scottish Court in Camp Zeist in 15 October 2001........

Supplementary information to the report: "Are Investigators involved in Criminal Activities in the Lockerbie-Affair?"

In the continuing Lockerbie-investigation we learned that an inquiry team from Scottland had visited Switzerland prior to Chief Inspector William Williamson's travels to meet the Swiss Federal Police in Bern/Switzerland. Please remember that Inspector W. Williamson arrived in Bern beginning of September 1990, where he also met commissioner P. Flückiger and others.

Excerpt from the Kamp van Zeist minutes:

----- Q- Mr. Williamson, do you know of any other police officers involved as members of the Lockerbie inquiry team who visited Switzerland for the purposes of identifying wheter MEBO were manufacturers of the MST-13 timer other than yourself ?- A- Could you repeat that question? Q- Yes, It wasn't a very good question, Mr. Williamson. In the periode in the latter part of 1990, when you were the manufacturers going to make inquiries in Switzerland as to wheter MEBO were the manufacturers of the MST- 13 timer, are you aware wheter any other police officer who was a member of the Scottish Lockerbie inquiry team made a seperate visit to Switzerland to the one you made ? - A- Yes, I am aware of that, sir.Yes. Q- And do you know when this other visit was made? A- No, sir. But it was prior to my visit.----

W. Williamson's claim that he does not remember with whom his meeting in Switzerland took place and at what exact time is more than questionable!

W. Williamson's claim that he can not exactly pinpoint the names of his inspectors and the exact time that they visited Switzerland, is very difficult to believe.

W.Williamson was part of the Lockerbie-investigation team since December 22, 1988;- and this FULL-TIME !! The allegedly Lockerbie-recovered MST-13 timer-fragment had been Polaroid-photographed (May 12/1989) on orders of Dr. Thomas Hayes and Allen Feraday (RARDE). On May 23/24 and 25, 1989, only eleven days following this photo-shooting of the alleged MST-13 timer-fragment-, followed the visit of the Lockerbie inquiry-team to Switzerland.

Commissioner P. Flückiger from the Swiss Federal Police contends that this visit of the Lockerbie-inquiry-team had been called for because of reasarch-efforts of a Swissair-crash that had occurred on February 21, 1971 (!!!). It is quite difficult to believe and illogical that the Lockerbie-inquiry-team would not have produced the Polaroid-photographs picturing the alleged MST-13 timer-fragment that had been shot on May 12, 1989. Commissioner P. Flückiger stated in his testimony at Camp van Zeist that he first saw said fragment on a photograph that he had received from the US- authorities in September of 1990 ! This does not match with investigation-reports from the Attorney General's office!

We also know from statements by witness no. 528, Louis Sharrow from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF-/USA) that the US-Department of State and the CIA were in possession of MST-13 timers that had been confiscated in Togo/Lome in 1986. It is at least since 1986 that the authorities must have known that such timers were from MEBO, because the company-name was engraved into the PC-board!

There is also a strange photograph no. 438, picturing a MST-13 timer in its casing and which was shown witness no. 528: Mr. Louis Sherrow. Such a timer had allegedly been carried to or delivered to Dakkar/Senegal. Yet ìíthe grey casing is by 3cm largerìí than the ones delivered to Libya;- thus demonstrating that this Senegal-timer is from a MST-13 timer-delivery to then East-Berlin/DDR! A label on said photograph also states that this timer had been handed to Inspector W. Williamson on October 27, 1999 by Judge Brugiere, Paris (Chief-investigator in the UTA-tragedy).

Why are the Lockerbie-Investigation-Authorities so reluctant to produce and show the orginal Polaroid-photographs???
Answer: Because with those photographs it can proven that the first MST-13 timer-fragment is from a MST-13 prototype PC-board of which none had ever been delivered to Libya.

May 7, 2001:
- Attorney Dr. Neupert has used registered mail, 7 of May 2001, to request from Mrs. Monique Saudan, the Swiss Federal Investigating Judge in the Lockerbie-matter, to order the Polaroid-photographs used during the events under the provision of "Swiss legal assistance", to be produced for his own and MEBO's viewing! (MEBO MST-13 timerfragment, No. (PT/35) and oders.

May 25, 2001:
Attorney Dr. Neupert, informs E. Bollier that the Swiss Investigative Judge: Mrs. Monique Saudan issued a "Editionsverf‰ªgung" on May 25, 2001, fully approving the application to view said photographs. Instead, the Office of the Federal Police then gained time by extanding this date to June 22, 2001.

June 22, 2001:
Then, despite said extension, said photographs could not be produced by the Federal Police, because the authorities were allegedly waiting for the OK from the FBI/USA to see said photographs handed over to the Swiss Investigative Judge.

July 6, 2001:
E. Bollier had been officially invited to Bern/Switzerland to meet Swiss Investigative Judge Monique Saudan, to then also view and discuss said evidence-photographs. He was told during this meeting that the OK had not been received yet from its owners! E. Bollier placed an official complaint!

July 9, 2001:
Attorney Dr. Neupert asks by official registered mail to receive proper legal arguments as to why Investigative Judge Monique Saudan did not produce said photographs, contrary to her "Editionverf‰ªgung" of May 25 and 31, 2001, as well as of her note of July 5, 2001.

July 23, 2001:
During a phone conversation between E. Bollier and Mrs. Saudan on July 23, 2001, it was discussed that photographs would now be released by Swiss Federal Police (BUPO) to Mrs. Saudan;- and that E. Bollier and his attorney are invited for this photo-examination on July 31, 2001 in Mrs. Saudan's office.

July 31, 2001:
Investigative Judge Monique Saudan was not able to produce said photographs on this date. E. Bollier was only shown some color-photocopies of rather inferior quality. The question was then placed to E. Bollier : " can you not remember that you were told that the orginal would be handed to the Scottish authorites? (Protocol of July 31, 2001)

August 3, 2001:
Attorney Dr. D. Neupert is still waiting for a reply to his letter of July 9, 2001 in which he asked Investigative Judge Mrs. Monique Saudan to explain the strange activities surrounding said Polaroid-photographs.

August 7, 2001:
In a letter received from Investigative Judge Monique Saudan we read that insight into said color-copies as well as other possibly available photographs will be granted during a shortly planned "confrontation" between representatives from the Federal Office of Police and Bollier/Neupert........... stay tuned.......

THE MINOR DIFFERENCE:

On November 13 and 14, 1991, both Libyan nationals: Mr. Megrahi and Mr. Fhimah had been charged with commonly committed murder and destruction of a civilian airliner.
Believing in a fair trial, both suspects travelled to Camp van Zeist in 2000, out of their own free will, hoping for a decent, unbiased and honest trial. At the end of the trial, one suspect: Mr. Fhimah has been immediately released as "not guilty", while Mr. Megrahi was found "guilty" on all charges,-being handed a life-sentence!

What are the reason for such a judgment in a case of the orginal conspiracy-charges?
The main-question is: what is Mr. Megrahi additionally charged with compared to Mr. Fhimah, to then reach the "guilty"-verdict? This might well be the key-question during the pending appeal!

Studying the official court-documents from Kamp van Zeist, we can discover endless inconsistencies and contradictions, parlicularly concerning the forensic data, expert-and witness-testmonies and the truly inferior defense-activities for Mr. Megrahi.
During the appeal- proceedings there will be only one significant Question: was Mr. Megrahi the buyer of the clothing at the "Mary-House"-boutique in Malta?

Once the clear proof can be presented that Mr. Megrahi has nothing whatsoever to do with the "Mary-House"-boutique, then Mr. Megrahi will have to be considered "innocent" just like Mr. Fhimah! We are on track......... stay tuned......

The assertion that a MST-13 MEBO timer-fragment has allegedly been recovered from the field of debris at Lockerbie would then still see Libya being charged with the Lockerbie-atrocity. Serious attempts will be made to collect billions of $ in damages from Libya!

This is why forensic re-investigation must prove beyond any doubt:

- that there was no explosion from within the infamous container AVE 4041PA
- that the bizarre skin-fragments of the shatter-zone of the PanAm-103 (Photo B-15) are from an explosion between the fuselage and container AVE 4041PA!
-that the allegedly Lockerbie-recovered MEBO timer-fragment MST-13 is a manipulated fragment from a non-functioning handmade PC-board, that has never been delivered to Libya!

STAY TUNED............
